7. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide extensions for known file types.
8. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
9. Press the Apply button and then the OK button.

For win 8: Start screen >> Control Panel >> Appearance and Personalization >> Folder Options >> Show hidden files and folders >> Check Show hidden files, folders, or drives >> Apply

B: Go to Control Panel and delete RightSurf from Add & Remove program
1. Click on the Start button. This is the small round button with the Windows flag in the lower left corner.
2. Click on the Control Panel menu option.
3. Click on Program
4. Click Add & Remove Program
5. Find RightSurf list and select Remove
6. Press the Apply button and then the OK button.

C: To stop all RightSurf, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the “Processes” tab, search RightSurf then right-click it and select “End Process” key.

For win 8: Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Ctrl+Shift+Esc >> Click Task Manager >> Right click the process you would like to end >> End task

D: Remove all RightSurf associated files:
